A fiddle player in Louisville’s folk Collective Arnett Hollow, also Ben Sollee, Bonnie “Prince” Billy and Daniel Martin Moore collaborator, Cheyenne Marie Mize with Kevin Ratterman and Ben Sollee performing at Cheer Up Charlie’s during SXSW 2010. They performed the song ‘Rest’ which is taken from Cheyenne Mize’s new 10-songs album  “Before Lately,” out on October 12th, available now digitally at Mize’s Band Camp site.  It was recorded at Danny Kiely’s studio In Room One.

‘Kiss Me Again’ is taken from her previous 6-songs 10″ EP, “Among The Gold” (Karate Body/2009) by Cheyenne Mize & Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, now available digitally at Mize’s Band Camp site. This collection comprises six duets of material from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Pillars and Tongues is a trio based in Chicago, IL, in the past two years, the group has released a handful of limited recordings on several American boutique labels, as well as a more extensive release with Chicago’s Contraphonic label. Additionally, their unique style has been tapped via: a stint supporting Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy throughout Canada and the west coast; prominent participation in the last two records by Joan of Arc; and a variety of performances with the likes of The Cairo Gang, Dirty Three and many others. Their latest album “Lay of Pilgrim Park” is now available via Endless Nest Collective, Empty Cellar Records (recently released the new 7″ of Emmett Kelly’s project, Cairo Gang‘s 7″ single.  Pillars and Tongues: Mark Trecka, Elizabeth Remis and Evan Hydzik
