FRANKIE COSMOS at the Wilderness Bureau

Trummors, begun in 2010 in Greenpoint, Brooklyn and now West Saugerties, NY-based Folk/Country duo comprises of Anne Cunningham and David Lerner (known best to some for his years of work with Ted Leo & The Pharmacists), has released their second full-length “Moorish Highway” via Ernest Jenning Record Co..





“Moorish Highway” was recorded at Drawing Room in Kingston, NY by Justin Rice (Bishop Allen), and mixed by Eli Walker at Isokon in Woodstock, NY. with a cast of talented backing players including drummer Otto Hauser (Vetiver), guitarist Kevin Barker (Johanna Newsom), bassist James Preston (Zachary Cale), and pedal steel guitarist Marc Orleans (D. Charles Speer and the Helix).

Anthony LaMarca is a member of The Building and co-founder of Primary Records. He has also recorded and performed with Dean & Britta, The War On Drugs, St Vincent, JBM, Leverage Models, and many others on the Primary label.

“Danielson’s Daniel Smith has long admired Fair, drawing inspiration from Half Japanese (the band Fair formed with his brother in the ‘70s) on through to his prolific career today. Their discussions of collaborating finally came to fruition when Joyful Noise Recordings designated Fair its “Artist In Residence” for 2014 and Danielson was tapped as one of 4 artists (including R. Stevie Moore; Teenage Fanclub’s Norman Blake; and Strobe Talbot) to record separate respective albums with him for a boxed-set limited release.”
