Died Young, Stayed Pretty is a candid look at the underground poster culture in North America. This unique documentary examines the creative spirit that drives these indie graphic artists. They pick through the dregs of America’s schizophrenic culture and piece them back together.
Featuring interviews with Jay Ryan, Art Chantry, Mat Daly, Keith Herzik, Jeff Kleinsmith and many more. Featuring an original musical score by Mark Greenberg (The Coctails./The Mayfair Workshop), and it was an official selection at the 2008 ~Montreal World Film Festival.

Jay Ryan #2

This is a short profile documentary of Chicago musician/artist Jay Ryan made in 2001. Jay has made screenprint posters for many independent bands and has had his work displayed in galleries around the world. His band, Dianogah, continue to record and tour today. (via ScottTJones)
