Mikal Cronin – You Gotta Have Someone

Both tracks are taken from the new singles by SF garage-pop-psych rocker, Mikal Cronin who has released his self-titled debut solo album via Trouble In Mind earlier this year. The album was recorded with his long time collaborator Ty Segall. ‘Am I Wrong’ appears on the 7″, available on February 10th, 2012 via Bruise Cruise, and ‘You Gotta Have Someone’ appears on the B-side of 7″ single ‘Tide,’ available soon via Goner.

‘You Make The Sun Fry’ is taken from San Francisco garage rocker, Ty Segall‘s upcoming 1st full-length for Drag City “Goodbye Bread,” due out on June 21st. Segall’s 1st 7″ single from the album, ‘I Can’t Feel It‘ b/w ‘Falling Hair’ (non-album track) is out now on Drag City.  “Goodbye Bread” was recorded with his buddy Eric Bauer (Crack: We Are Rock, Big Techno Werewolves) in his basement who previously worked with Segall for last year’s album “Melted” (Goner).
