NY Guitar Fest : The Apollo Project, 2012-01-06
“In honor of the 30th anniversary of Brian Eno’s tribute to the NASA moon landings, Apollo: Atmospheres & Soundtracks, the New York Guitar Festival presented a live re-imagining of this sonic masterpiece featuring the ambient ensemble itsnotyouitsme, guitar master Larry Campbell, and special guests including David Torn, Noveller, Phish’s Mike Gordon, and Tortoise’s Jeff Parker. The performance also features scenes from Craig Teper’s documentary, Man In The Right Seat, about Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell.”

Beth Sorrentino – I’m Not Living Here (Curt Boettcher cover)

The both tracks are taken from Beth Sorrentino‘s forthcoming Curt Boettcher tribute album, produced by Sean Slade who has produced the debut EP (from SpinART) of her former band, Suddenly, Tammy! in the early 1990s, with Irwin Chusid slated to co-produce. The both songs were originally released on the Sagittarius’ 1968 album “Present Tense”.



Montreal-based singer-songwriter, Molly Sweeney has the debut album “Gold Rings and Fur Pelts,” released from Syren Songs, digitally available on her bandcamp. Produced by Radwan Moumneh and Molly Sweeney. Recorded & mixed at Thee Mighty Hotel2Tango by Radwan Ghazi Moumneh (of Jerusalem In my Heart, he has produced several Montreal bands like Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra and Tra-LaL-a Band). Sweeney is also known for singing with Land Of Kush, a large orchestra assembled and directed by Montreal composer and musician Sam Shalabi (aka Shalabi Effect).
